The Charter School Office in the Florida Department of Education has partnered with Public Consulting Group to support charter schools as they transition to the Florida Standards and effectively use data from Local Instructional Improvement Systems.

During the 2013-2014 school year, twenty-eight professional development modules were developed and delivered regionally to charter school teachers, administrators and governing board members. These modules have been translated to e-learning courses, providing all interested charter schools with an opportunity to participate in a Blended Learning Model free of charge.

The Blended Learning Model infuses customized, onsite coaching with the online courses, creating a professional development process that allows each individual to learn at their own pace, time and place. The online courses are accessible 24/7 on the CPALMS Charter web site. After completion of the web-based portion of the course, schools may request an onsite session with a PCG consultant who will provide customized coaching and implementation support. Onsite coaching sessions can be requested on RegisterMe.
